Guidelines for the Conduct of the
      Academic Committee of the
      Certified Controllership Program

      Definitions

      Program means the activity known as the "CC Certified ControllerTM Program of the International Institute of Certified Public Accountants Incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware" ("the Program") headquartered and conducted internationally, meaning administratively, consultatively, physically and otherwise entirely outside of the United States of America.

      Delegate means an individual person delegated by a participating university or institute of higher learning to the "Academic Committee of the Controllership Program" as defined below ("delegate" or "delegates").

      Academic Committee of the Controllership Program ("the Committee") means loose, informal and voluntary arrangements intended to connect delegated individuals to correspond with each other and/or congregate in person, the arrangements being without limitation as to their numbers, to serve as a forum for any purpose, for example, to build consensus among each other in order to assist the management of the program by making suggestions or recommendations on issues including but not limited to students' or exam candidates' learning, the content and quality of the study material offered and used by review and other related courses, or the examination of candidates for the CC Certified ControllerTM designation.

      Participating university or institute of higher learning means an educational body or bodies, public or private, authorized within its jurisdiction to educate students or the public at large, which university or institute is offering the program including CC Certified ControllerTM Review course(s), and/or proctoring the examination of candidates for the program's competency examination(s).

      Guideline 1

      The appointment of delegates by their respective universities or schools of higher learning to the committee does not confer any right(s) or obligation(s) on the program vis-à-vis the delegates of their respective universities or schools of higher learning; and vice versa, the appointment of delegates by their respective universities or schools of higher learning does not confer any rights or obligations on the appointees (or on their delegating university or schools of higher learning) vis-à-vis the Program, and vice versa,

      Guideline 2

      The appointed delegates are recognized, not recognized, or no longer recognized, at the sole discretion or pleasure of the Program without legal recourse of any kind by the delegate(s); and the committee is convened, not convened, and/or dissolved at the pleasure of the program without legal recourse(s) of any kind by the delegates and/or by the program in the courts of competent jurisdiction or otherwise; the only remedy by either or any party or parties being voluntary denial of service to each other, and/or withdrawal from the activities of the program with notice, or without notice.

      Guideline 3

      Time and effort of individuals contributing to the amendments and additions of the study material shall be reimbursed after performance and delivery of the product to the Program in accordance with a schedule or as pre-agreed by the contributor(s) and the Program on a case by case basis.

      Guideline 4

      The delegate(s) conduct their affairs serve the best interests of their respective participating universities or institutes of higher learning, at their own or their respective universities' or institutes' cost and expense; in other words, the program does not have or provide the means to reimburse a delegate or delegates or their respective universities or institute of higher learning for any of his/her/its costs or expenses whatsoever

      Guideline 5

      The Committee's language of communication is Standard-English.

      Guideline 6

      The Guidelines herein are created by the program as guidelines for the benefit of the delegates and their respective participating universities or institutes of higher learning, and in order to facilitate their usefulness are subject to change at the program's sole discretion and pleasure with notice by way of publication on the program's website, for example, at http://www.iicpa.com/ "CC Certified ControllerTM Program" or other subdirectory properly identified.
